Hello, Jesus Christ is my Lord, Savior, and king. He fills me with His Holy Spirit to complete His great propose for my life. He has forgiven me of my sins. He has enabled me with a gift of writing the stories of the characters He places in my mind and heart. Because of the great struggle with sin in my younger life, and His abundant grace and forgiveness, I can write about His mercy towards others.
My husband of 27 years, and I have a blended family and enjoy God’s gift of 15 grandchildren. We are a proud military family with four retired service members. We currently have a grandson-in-law and family that serve in the Navy. Douglas and I are proud of our son who is a United States Sky Marshal. We are actively involved with local veterans organizations and volunteer services. We also minister together in the Kairos International Prison Ministry for both men and women in the state prison in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.

I am a trained and highly educated Early Childhood Specialist. I have earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. I spent more than 20 years training teachers on how to teach while being a constant learner myself.
For several years I was privileged to write children’s literature reviews for the NAEYC publication Young Children. I have written many lesson plans as a college professor, professional articles, and Sunday School lessons as a teacher in our local congregation. I have written short stories and two novels. For 30 years I taught seminars at local, state and national Early Childhood conferences. For six years I was blessed to be an Early Childhood Education Consultant with the Tennessee Department of Education. I created and taught seminars and trained teachers.
I claim to be a spiritual offspring of the twentieth Century author Grace Livingston Hill. Her daughter, Ruth Livingston Munce, taught an evening Bible study class in our St.Petersburg, Florida home. My father came to trust the Lord as his savior during those years, and her teaching and life example greatly influenced my Christian walk. For ten years, it has been my goal to read the total of the books published by both Grace and Ruth. Still reading and enjoying.
Now I write full time, creating suspenseful stories of God’s grace, mercy, and love in the center of the character’s trials, tribulations, and resolution.
